Are Happy Slings padded? Happy Slings are unpadded ring slings. Happy Sling Pouches are also unpadded, however you can choose to have the bottom rail padded. The Happy Cruiser and Mei Happy Ride have light padding in the shoulder straps and headrest. Happy Slings Onbu has padding in the shoulder straps only. What kind of rings do you use for Happy Slings? We use aluminum Sling Rings that have been made specifically for slings. Please see www.SlingRings.com for more information on them. How do I clean my Happy Sling? We recommend that you wash all Happy Slings products on cold and hang dry so they will not shrink. If something is not washable or dryable, it will be noted. Some products require hand washing. If that is the case, it will be noted. How safe is a Happy Sling? Totally safe! As long as you keep your Happy Sling scooped under your baby's bum, he is not going to fall through. Make sure that you have the sling pulled tight enough around you that he is secure and you are good to go! Your babys safety should be your first priority. Please use common sense. You would not hold your baby while cooking with spattering grease. Please don't put him in the sling around the grease either :) Can I bend over while wearing the baby in a sling? I feel like he can fall out. You should squat rather than bending over and you should ALWAYS be aware of what�s around you. Don�t get too distracted while you are cooing at your sweet baby.I feel intimidated...like I don't know what I'm doing. ITS OK!!!!! Like everything, practice makes perfect. It is a good idea to have someone help you practice with a doll the first couple of times over the bed or couch until you get the hang of your new Happy Sling. It will take a few times, but you WILL get it. Sometimes babies get fussy when you put them in your new sling. It is best to start with a rested, fed baby and then get up and go! Go for a walk or bounce him a little to help him adjust to his new carrier. Try to remember that your baby responds to how you feel so if you feel uneasy, so will he. So RELAX and have confidence!How do I know if a Happy Sling is big enough for me? Happy Slings are one size fits most. They are about 84" long. If you are bigger or smaller than most, send us an email and we will find a sling that will fit you. Pouches need to be ordered in your size. If you have questions, send us an email and we will help get you the right size. Happy Cruisers and Mei Happy Rides have top straps that are approximately 70" long and waist straps that are approximately 30" long. Happy Slings Onbus have top straps that are approximately 70" long. Do you do custom orders? ABSOLUTELY! Email us for information and to find out our time schedule. Can I breastfeed my baby in a Happy Sling? PLEASE DO! You can nurse in a Happy Sling or a Happy Slings Pouch. The tail on a Happy Sling can be used as a cover for more privacy. Most women can nurse in the Happy Cruiser and the Mei Happy Ride. This will depend a lot on the size of your breasts and your level of modesty. How can I hold my baby in the Happy Sling? You can hold him laying down like a hammock, tummy to tummy, on your hip, facing front or on your back in both the Happy Sling and the Happy Slings Pouch. In the Happy Cruiser and the Mei Happy Ride, you can hold him on your front facing in or out, on your back and on your hip. In the Happy Slings Onbu you wear the baby on your back. Are there rings on the Happy Cruiser? Mei Happy Ride? Happy Slings Onbu?No. The Happy Cruiser has long straps that tie around you and your baby. The Happy Slings Onbu has rings at the waist instead of straps. Can I have more than one Happy Sling product in the same fabric? Email us and let us know which fabric you are thinking about and we can check stock. Because we have such a huge selection, we have a limited amount of each fabric. When it sells, we might not be able to get more.What is your Return Policy? We do not offer returns unless there is a manufacturing defect. If you see a problem, please let us know within 10 days of the shipping date. We will only accept the return if it has been authorized. Happy Slings Pouches are made in the size you order. If your sling doesn�t fit, it can be made SMALLER. It cannot be made bigger. If you feel your sling is too big, please contact us for instructions. We will alter it once for free and if you need any alterations after that, it will be $10 per alteration (plus shipping and handling).
